Desert Blossom

Written by: Flagbearer Ryuken, Blade of Vahin's Truth

Harshness in a word of unrelenting heat.
Sands engulf those who cannot stand their grounds.
The Suns look down, judging all who would pass.
Oft the challenge destroys, leaving bitter Ash.

Though, from to time, one survives.
One lives on, smirking to the conditions.
One who laughs at the perils offered,
Yet One who still has a heart of love.

She becomes the Desert Blossom.
Beautiful, resiliant, unrelenting.
Never giving in to the challenges thrusted upon.
Moving ever on, Blades shining in the Sun.

Never to be tamed, only to be admired.
Always to want, but never to be had.
The flower you wish to pick, but never to kill.
Hoping to have, but preparing to not.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Letum, in the year 407 AD.
