The Turning of the Wheel

Eternally moving is the Great Wheel,
Bringing forth all we see and feel.
In the Spring comes renewal of life,
And revival of hope in spite of strife.

Come Summer, things heat up much more,
And living things thrive in full splendor.
Then Autumn brings a great winding down.
And the leaves in earth tones fall to the ground.

Finally, Winter performs a feat, consummate,
Covering the land in a cold-bringing blanket.
In this time the cycle is complete,
While the people marvel and the land sleeps.

Lyrith Da'Saison

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Fas, in the year 406 AD.
