A Figment of My Imagination

Written by: Broken Wytch, Lexilis

Was it all just a dream?
Our happiness together, the words you spoke to me
The promises I thought you made
The life we were to lead together

The night before
You come to me, not knowing if you can return
You waver and disappear
In a flash, you are gone.

Was it all just a dream?
A figment of my imagination?
Will I ever know?
Will you ever return?

Forever alone and broken
I am.

Penned by my hand on the 2nd of Tenebrae, in the year 405 AD.
