It�s not quite the fairy tale ending
I�d hoped it might be
You chose someone else
But it�s alright
The things that we shared
Will stay fond memories
Ones I�ll forever hold close to me

Feelings change
Like the weather
Things too good to be true usually are
I should have guarded my heart better
I was foolish to let things go this far

So think of this as a last performance
Think of it as the very last time
That I�ll ever tell you I love you
This is my last kiss goodbye
