Appreciation

The beautiful work of the Creators almighty hand
So soft to the touch and precious
So lacking in the confidence of aesthetic value
But a fount of valor within.
To wake on the morn beside perfection
And to know that this makes life complete
It fills the day with a white new light
That glows where no one sees.
To understand what man meant when he said,
"This is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh"
To comprehend that he knew this made his life complete
That she caused such joy and contentment.
To fully understand this simple sentiment
Is to reach that place most only lament
And to add this to real experience
Is the greatest blessing man can ever realize.

Penned by my hand on the 19th of Artificium, in the year 422 AD.
