Somewhat like Death

Written by: Katey Acerbus

Twinkling violet,
Somewhat like violent,
Guilty intentions so hopelessly silent,
Mental pain,
Somewhat like rain,
Pouring upon a shadow with strain,

Somewhat like shout,
I wither away petals that flutter about,
Letting go,
Somewhat like slow,
Ashes are covered in glistening snow...

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Halitus, in the year 412 AD.
