Nothing, really

Like a flint,
Your words are a spark
That kindle a warmth inside of me
A fire out of control
It lashes out at all and any
Friend or foe, love or hate
But something in the warmth
A wisp of evening breeze
Curls throughout
Whenever you are near
And makes me think
Perhaps
You can tame it
If you could just
Let me in
Maybe that icicle will melt
And the warmth inside
Chill
And maybe they can both be happy

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Vita, in the year 403 AD.
