Recently, those touched with the gifts of sight and prophecy have been
offering warnings of a dire circumstance within the realm of dreams, the
Rashirmir. The Seer of the Flooded, Eogena, sent a plea unto several in
the hopes that she might warn them of what she saw as a tearing in the
veil between realms. Words between those of the gift spread swiftly
throughout the lands, from the priestesses of the Pa'kitaru to Dhen the
Bonecaster, and the priestesses of the Nocteil Glades. They warned many
of the growing strength of the dreams, in the hopes that a resolve could
be found amongst those that sought answers.

Erienne, the Soothsayer sent a panic throughout Caanae as she fell
victim to the might of the nightmares. Her cries alerted a young
Malignist named Esano, a centurion of the Diavlous, the Lady Daemynia,
and a pure-hearted child of the Hunters named Lia along with her mate
Savreth. Tossing and turning in her sleep, Erienne began to show signs
of being trapped within her dreams. A vicious shadowhound, borne of the
Soothsayer's nightmares became reality, attacking those gathered. As
the tear in the Rashirmir widened, the horror of the nightmares spread
towards Antioch, finding a Justicar of the Shah napping while on duty.
A priestess of Anhir stood in conference with Moriaquinn and several
others, as the dreams of the Justicar coalesced into life.

Many began to take notice of their own dreams, and fearing for their
safety and the well-being of their loved ones, they begin to search out
those that might give reasoning the to madness wrought by the Rashirmir.
However, no scholar in the realm had enough research upon the matter to
predict what was to come. The nightmares coursed through the sleeping
minds of men, unabated despite all efforts.

Within the Nocteil Glades, a beautiful centaur priestess fell to the
power of endless sleep. Her sister hoped that by inviting a select few
to bear witness to their Ceremony of Dreams, that the spirits dwelling
within the Rashirmir would be appeased at a showing of reverence and
respect. Moriaquinn, of the desert city of Antioch, Lia and Savreth of
Celidon, Ikitae of Khandava, the scaled one known as Garess of Ithaqua,
and Sarrius of Kinsarmar also attended, standing as proxy for his
betrothed, Lalitana. The ceremony began, and a crowd of men began to
gather uninvited. The priestess attempted to go through the motions of
the ritual, but concern for her sister, and wariness of the uninvited
made her falter, and fail at her attempts. The priestess fell into a
deep sleep, collapsing beside her fallen sister. The dreams of the two
combined unleashed several nightmare creatures that attacking the
gathering. The group despaired of ever finding a resolution to the
dilemma, when from the heavens came a seraph, a herald of the Creator.
The Avasyuvian Herald stated that the pleas of mortals were heard, and
that across the realm, all those of great power shall be granted the
gift to raise Shrines in His Almighty name. In the hopes that perhaps,
should the devotion of men prove great enough, He will deign to repair
that which has broken...
