Zaimael Consumed

The diabolus Zaimael grew sick of the mortal race and sought to rise in power as their overlord, so he went to the Tree of Existence in hopes to tame the beast Nysashgar.

Unfortunately, the beast proved to be too powerful for him, and with a flick of his horns Nysashgar threw Zaimael out of the roots. As the entity rose to his feet in an attempt to strike again, a spawn of the ouroboros lunged at him, overcoming him with both heads.

The massive beast snapped at the entity's flesh, ripping it from his body before consuming him from either end. As the ouroboros launched itself along the mountainside to devour the world below, its scales began to morph into stone, slowly transforming it into a statue that released a pulse of energy onto the world.

Several mortals came to the Feinhorn in search of the power, finding the statue affixed to the mountainside. After much consideration, Aleutia took up a pick and began mining fragments from the ouroboros, sending her fellow sect members to infuse the power to their altar.

What strange power stirs within the ouroboros? Gather your pick to find out.
