A new treaty?

On the 12th day of Artificium, in the year 32 AM Vishran, the Scarab Emissary, called upon the Duchess Alvetta. It was then that he informed her that Z'raika, Queen of the Scarabs, was looking to speak with her.

Upon arriving to the caverns with Caelya, Vaughn, Mercer, and Mathiaus, Alvetta and the Queen struck a deal. It is on this day that a new treaty would be formed, one that states the Knights are due their retirement, and that the two factions shall remain allies. It was agreed that they would come to the aide if the Duchy requested it, and the city will aide the scarabs if they are in need, but for now, the scarabs will train their own military.

Alvetta quickly pulled forth a piece of parchment and scrawled the agreement upon it. She promptly signed it and handed the paper over to the Queen, who then called upon her General. After all three signed the treaty, the Knights were sent off, the cavern now free from the ever watchful eye of Kinsarmar.

Will this new treaty stand the test of time as the past one has? Or is this the point where the scarabs rise in strength and power?

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Artificium, in the year 32 AM.
