The shades

On the 4th of Solis in the year 29 AM a strange occurrence happened at the Springs. One of the pillars that has been left there for centuries that once held the grand temple of Avasyu together cracked and fell down upon the altar.

Upon cracking the altar, a strange substance began pouring forth from the pillar, tainting the springs waters, and flooding the entire temple.

Moments later strange shades began materializing within the tainted waters, asking those gathered to sign a contract with them. Some were uneasy with such a contract, but others jumped at the chance to help these beings out.

One mortal felt as though these shades were up to no good, so he took it upon himself to meet with some of the oldest inhabitants of Aetherius to inform them of the events that have occurred. Ageranu met with Tomast first, Bina second, and then he found himself traveling to Dis to meet with Mathardan. None of them knew anything of these shades, or what would have caused this to happen. He left on a note that he will continue his search, and work towards keeping these shades from growing in strength.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Solis, in the year 29 AM.
