With the declaration from Therain that nature would once more overtake
the cities at Algoris's heed, the various denizens of Aetherius spoke
up. Many requested an audience with Algoris himself, but seeing himself
as too mighty, declined all but those who would give in to his demands.

As many sought to taunt him, poppies appeared within cultivated cities
and townes as if to make a point. Khandava announced their intention to
side with Kinsarmar, and felt the brunt of the blasts as well. It was
during this that Algoris agreed to meet with the duke of Kinsarmar,
Keijima Elith. Making his way to the City as best he could, Algoris was
flanked by poppies, Therain, and a new creature known as a Treant.
Algoris was almost immediately attacked upon arrival, his loyal servant
Therain quickly rushing him away from harm, leaving behind the monstrous
Treants, golems and poppies. As a new attack on Kinsarmar surged, the
Treants showed their abilities to transform city rooms into gardens.
Strong and brutish, they soaked blow after blow and killed many brave
Kinsarmarians before eventually retreating from battle as the golems and
poppies fell.
A time after this attack, Erulehto approached the Councils, starting
with Khandava. Finding himself in an audience with Ahkan Elith, the
Prophet himself, Erulehto explained that someone he knew needed to talk
and wished for introduction. Moments later, a beautiful redwood dryad
entered, calling herself Sathira. She told about the history of the
Treants, speaking quickly of her centuries old search for them. They had
been the subject of great study, centuries ago, and both she and
Erulehto wished to try to convert them back to the gentle beings they
once were. The only way to achieve this was through defeat of Algoris!
Ahkan and the gathered councilmates of Khandava quickly stated they'd
try their best to stop the perversion of nature and save the treants if
at all possible. Overjoyed, Sathira requested permission to stay within
Khandava and was granted it, becoming a new loyal member.

A little while later, Erulehto introduced yet another dryad to the
Council of Celidon, bearing the same information. Lithirea had searched
with Sathira for the treants for centuries and felt it necessary to
return to the place of her own birth to warn the denizens of the oaken
forests. The elegant dryad attempted to speak to those gathered, to tell
them the same story, when the protests of a vocal few disgusted the
lovely creature. Stating frankly that she would not return till Celidon
decided if they would support Algoris or not, she quickly left,
returning to Erulehto and the primordial grove.
Days passed after Sathira's and Lithirea's warning, and once more the
vibrations and song of the earth itself began to sing. Several monks
began noticing odd telepathic presences, and the smell of leaf-mould was
carried on the breeze. The world knew that Algoris was gearing to attack
once more. And attack he did.
In a great, brilliant strike, he attacked every city standing, and every
council which had acted to defend cities. Khandava, Celidon, Kinsarmar,
Stavenn and Antioch all felt the brutal attack of treants, golems and
poppies at once. It seemed Therain and Algoris were commanding the
attack from afar, standing safely away while they did so. Each place
held magnificently, taking sacrifice and strength in the same breath to
battle the oncoming forces.
As the enemy's armies fell, however, the clouds abouve the Winde began
to swirl, alerting the world to the presence of Algoris and the
gathering surge of power. Immediately, the armies of Khandava set out,
closely followed by Celidon's. Meeting roughly at the same point, they
were greeted by a massive amount of poppies, treants and golems, all
striving to defend Therain. Stavenn and Antioch arrived as Celidon and
Khandava cleared the grunts just in time for Algoris to descend to the
area for a final battle.

In one of the bloodiest battles ever seen, four of the greatest armies
of the world clashed head on, fighting each other as well as Algoris.
Body after body fell, victims of the growing bloodbath and the fresher
soldiers of Stavenn's army. As the smoke cleared, it was clear that
Ephor Maglust Tellaris had struck the final blow. Algoris lay dead at
his feet, able to fight no longer.

With Algoris dead, the remnants of his armies were no longer controlled.
The dryad Sathira quickly took control of the remaining treants, helping
Erulehto shepherd them safely back to the grove where they were born in
the hope that someday, they could return to the way they were supposed
to be.
