Winner of the Literary Contest

Written by: Zanik, God of Civilization

Addressed to: Everyone

Greetings all,

First of all, thanks to all of you who participated in the literary
contest. I was pleased at the sheer number of submissions that came in.
I was a bit surprised, however, that a few of the submissions were
essays, rather than poems or short prose as I had stipulated.
Nonetheless, the selection process was a difficult one, and Rilore,
Karri and Valence all deserve special mention for their respective
submissions. However, there can only be three winners.

In third place, with his wonderful extended poem of "Age of marvels come
and gone" is Vaughn, winning 100 credits.

In second place, with his short story "Rangers Against Civilization" is
Breav, winning 200 credits.

Finally, in first place, with her intriguing, though possibly misguided
short story "Nature's Nest" is Lynn, winning the grand prize of 300
credits.

Congratulations to all three of you, as well as all who made submissions
for this contest. May Civilization always guide your hearts, minds,
spirits and quills for eons to come.

-Zanik, God of Civilization

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Letum, in the year 491 AD.
