Towne Shops/Houses

Ever wanted to run your own shop, but found yourself stifled by the
limitted offerings in the cities? Ever wanted to own your very own
house, but found yourself on a never-ending waiting list in your forest
council? We've just released an exciting addition to our Towne system
that has the potential to add 30 new player-run shops, and 90 new
player-owned houses.

The following files detail some of the changes:

HELP TOWNE SHOPS
HELP TOWNE HOUSES

As a note of caution, I want to make sure that all of you know that at
some point in the future, townes will be able to be taken over by other
cities or councils. As such, I anticipate that the market for shops and
houses in townes will be much different than for those in cities. If
your towne is taken over, you will lose a shop or house that you own in
that towne. It will be some time before townes will be up for grabs, and
it will be difficult to capture a towne. But...the possibility remains.

In addition, this change allows cities/councils to build or demolish
shops in their city/council. The maximum number of player-run shops in a
city/council is still 8, but this allows you to move shops around as you
see fit. You can also add and remove locks to a door in a shop, as well
as create keys for locks on doors in a shop.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
