Taming Changes

Ok, a couple of Taming issues/changes.

- Protect was never meant to be a continuous ability. Of course, I just
caught on that it was. It was meant to be something you can order
them to do before combat, or during combat to reduce the damage of a
single hit. As such, protecting animals will now stop protecting
after the first hit against them and must be ordered to protect
again after each time it protects.

- I added a room message that will inform you when a player is ordering
their pet to attack. I have heard reports that standguard is being
ordered and a pet is continuing to attack, even though the owner is
in the room. This should not be the case. If you find that you can get
a pet to attack a player, without having to order the attack each time
then please report how you were able to do this. The base eq time
for ordering a pet to attack is around 5 seconds.

With that said, standguard can be ordered, and the pet will
automatically attack an enemy when they first enter the room. It
should not continue to attack, beyond the first hit, if the owner is
in the room. If they are not in the room, you can expect to get hit
continually.

- Pets will no longer heal health if they are in a fight. If you want
your pet to heal, order it passive, or to do a non combat activity.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Artificium, in the year 477 AD.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
