A few of the contests probably need to be explained more thoroughly.
First, the Design contest! ONLY designs submitted to approvers between
the given times will be judged, so you need to submit them between
saturday afternoon and sunday afternoon. Only one submission per person
per category, and only a designer may enter. Prizes will be given for
each category, as well an over-all winner.

Gemhunt
-----------
This one is fairly simple. However, you will find yourselves totally
unable to share gems! Every person will be for themselves, so you cannot
pool your score.

Riddle Contest
------------------
All those participating will be randomly paired up, and challenge each
other with riddles. Correctly answering a riddle will give you one
point, asking a riddle the opponent fails to answer will give you one
point, and the first to gain three points will win that match. Winners
will then be paired with other winners, until ultimately we have an
overall winner. There will be no conferring, and a person will have
three minutes to answer a given riddle.

Costume Ball
----------------
Costumes will comprise of worn tailoring and possibly jewellery items,
though you do not have to actually have tailoring to wear the costume
you wish to enter. Descriptions may be taken into account, but the
majority of the judging will be based on costume itself.

Treasure Hunt
-----------------
Various special gems will be placed at certain points in the world, and
you will be given clues as to their locations, each giving the location
of the next until you reach the final one. There will be gold for
reaching each riddle, but you will have to do them in order!
