Idras Skill Changes

Written by: Dranor, God of Imagination

Predation
---------------
- Predation 'mindnumb' can now be performed as part of a knifeplay
combination.
- Dart flinging accuracy has been increased and moved to a
hit-miss-dodge system.
- Extra functionality has been added to the Smokebomb ability.
- Idras may now perform actions while a threadtrap is active. They
cannot move.
- An Idras may now RIFLE HOSTAGE. This is explained in AB PREDATION
HOSTAGE.
- Poisoning has been fixed so that only an Idras can do it, and it
will now accurately require a vial with the proper poison in it.
- When a masked Idras enters a city that they are enemied to, the
guards will not immediately recognise the enemy unless they stay
in a certain room with guards for too long. So an Idras moving
quickly through the city is reasonably safe from guards. However,
as soon as one guard recognises an enemy, all bets are off.
- Three levels of artifact dartsheaths have been added.

Knifeplay
---------------
- The Knifeplay limb attacks of jab and lowhook will no longer have
random chances to do massive amounts of limb damage.
- Flashkick will now do limb damage to the head.
- Lateral will now do limb damage to the torso.
- Limb damage caused by sitaras has been increased.
- The accuracy of Crescentcut has been increased.
- Crescentcut will do more damage if the target is on the ground and
held there by things like: web tattoo, pinning darts, broken legs.
- All sitara attacks should do more damage to armoured opponents.
- Flashkick balance has been decreased.
- Trip balance has been decreased.
- Spinslash balance has been decreased.
- The accuracy of Flashkick and Trip has been increased, and they
have both been moved to a hit-miss-dodge system.
- Tidalslash will now charge faster, but will also drain steadily.
- You can get a (very) rough idea of how much magickal damage
a sitara has absorbed with 'weaponprobe'.
- Bladesurge will restore some health to the Idras when it is
activated.
- A long-standing (and very difficult to track) bug has been fixed
that made the different coloured sitaras completely useless.
- The endurance drain from prowess has been slightly decreased.
- The bleeding damage caused by a sitara embedded in one's stomach
has been increased.
- Sitara Bleed can no longer be done from the Ein-Fasit stance.
- Three levels of artifact sitaras have been added.

Toxins
------------
- A new toxin has been added: Cirisosis.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
