Design Submission Changes

Hello, Crafters!

We've just made a change to the way design submission works, to cut back on some of the issues we've had with mass submission in the past. This is a change we've been planning for a while, but hadn't pulled the trigger on. We've decided that now it is necessary to consider it again.

Rather than having a (fairly high) daily quota of designs you may submit, you may now have a certain number of designs in the crafting queue at once, regardless of when they were submitted. This is tracked as two separate quotas: one quota for new submissions (designs that have NEVER been approved before), and one for re-submissions (designs that have been APPROVED (not just submitted) in the past). The base quota amount for each is 5 designs, and you receive one more for each tradeskill you know. That means if you know only one tradeskill, you may have up to 6 new and 6 re-submitted designs in the queue at once. If you have 7 tradeskills (the current max), you can have a total of 12 designs each of new and re-submitted in the queue at once.

This does not effect the designs currently in the queue, but will be the case for all submissions going forward.

This is a fairly substantial change and we understand that there will be opinions (good and bad). Feel free as always to send feedback to crafters@imperian.com!

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
