May classleads part 5

Written by: Garryn

The fifth part of the May classleads has been loaded:

- Reworked the bow accuracy calculations - arrow accuracy now depends on several factors including bow type, distance from the target, possession of abilities such as Wind or Markmanship, and more

- Walls now cause arrows to always miss

- You can now execute multiple commands at once: CONFIG SEPARATOR <separator|OFF>. For example, if you set your separator to ;;, you can send hmm;;frown to execute both commands at once. The separator can not contain any alphabet or numeric characters, and the 'CONFIG SEPARATOR' command is exempt from being split. Please note that this feature does not work with the command queue at this time.

- Armor mitigation has been adjusted for all weapon attacks - if any attack starts causing too much damage, please report it in the usual way

- Knife etchings (Runeguard Smithing) now reduce the damage portion mitigated by armor

- Essencedrain (Templar Smithing) has been reworked. It is now called Emblazing, and has a chance to inflict fire damage to its target if he has active runes on his body (Jera, Berkana, or Algiz; armor runes do not count). This purification is more effective when used by Templars - the damage then scales to the number of active runes. The purification has no effect if the target doesn't have any active body runes.

- Cruellament has been reworked entirely and moved to the Transcendent rank in Thespia; see the AB help for details. Circles of Resonance remain in existance, but they do not have any specific purpose at this time.

- The Myried power word generates less resonance now

- Flare (Devotion) can be used with a specific rite now; the damage is slightly reduced when used like this

- The Meteor ability in Alchemy now allows you to shoot the meteor arrows as well. SHOOT <target> WITH METEOR, requires a bow (doesn't matter which type).

- Erode cast through a Cataclysm vibration is now blocked by the shield tattoo

- BURROW ABOVE is no longer blocked by ice or flood

- The following defences and effects can no longer be used on others: Bliss (Devotion), Chargeshield (Elemancy), Soulmask (Necromancy)

- The health and mana thresholds for autocuring are now configurable - AUTOCURING HEALTH <percent>, AUTOCURING MANA <percent>, AUTOCURING TOADSTOOL <percent>. You can also use AUTOCURING PRIORITY HEALTH|MANA to prioritise mana over health if needed. Note that this setting is ignored if health is under 20% - autocuring will then prioritise health regardless of mana status.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021
