The tournament is well under-way, and things have been going pretty smoothly.

To check the tournament rankings, use the following commands:

TR
- View your personal rankings
TR OVERALL
- View the overall tournament ranking
TR MIND|BODY|SPIRIT|SOUL|ARTS
- View the ranking in a specific category

I have set up the system for the 1v1 bracket. Anybody who registered for the combat events as of several hours ago has been automatically entered in the double-elimination bracket.

Use the following commands to interact with the bracket:

TOURNAMENT MATCH
- See if you have a current match
TOURNAMENT VIEW <tournament #> <round #>
- View the matches scheduled in a specific round of a bracket
- The tournaments currently set up are #1, #2, and #3, which correspond
to the respective combat tiers.
TOURNAMENT RECORD WIN|LOSS
- Record your current match as a win or a loss.
- Both participants in a match must record the win or a loss

You will be notified when you have a new match, but you should make sure to check your bracket status often. Remember, this is a double-elimination bracket, so you will have to lose twice before you will be removed from the bracket.

Once you are assigned a match, communicate with the other participant and agree upon a method by which you will determine the winner. If you are unable to decide, then the default is to participate in a single winner-takes-all duel in the Coliseum.

Both the winner and the loser must record the match results in order for the tournament to progress. If you deliberately do not record your result, I will be very angry with you and I might shrub you or ban you from the rest of the tournament.

To keep this bracket moving smoothly and to make sure that it progresses in a timely fashion, all matches will be assigned a timer of 24 hours as soon as two participants are assigned to the match.

After that 24 hours has passed, the match will timeout and I will choose a winner. I will base my decisions on the amount of time you've spent online, how much that time has been spent idle, how active you were in communicating with the other participant to reach an agreement, how bad you smell, and how much I dislike you. You probably don't want me to make this decision for you, so make an effort to find a good time to meet up with your opponent. Compromise is key!
