Artifact Drop Wednesday

Artifact Drop Wednesday has begun! For the next 24 hours, some mobs will randomly drop powerful artifacts when the mob is killed. Those artifacts will last for approximately 48 hours after they have dropped.

You can see which mobs are dropping the artifacts that you want by using the ARTIFACT command. Use ARTIFACT LIST <artifact> to search for the artifact in the list, and ARTIFACT <arti #> SHOW to view information about the artifact, including the mobs and the areas that the artifact can be found in.

There are a couple of changes to this drop day from previous ones:

Artifacts will be placed directly in your inventory, rather than on the ground.

If you already have an artifact of that type in your inventory and loyal to you, in most cases, a second will not be dropped. This applies to most artifacts, but unfortunately, not to all of them. This is due to variances in the way artifacts are created and detected, but this should help cut down on some unwanted spam and item creation.
