- Summoning demons with Enslavery to establish pacts no longer requires 3
other people, except in the case of Golgotha.
- Runelore: sketching Jera, Algiz, Berkana, Laguz, Lagul, Lagua, Gebo, and
Gebu on something/someone that already has a instance of that rune will now
refresh the rune timer.
- Implanted totems will no longer fire in active Groves.
- Reduced Grove Maelstrom Lightning damage.
- New Groves ability: 'Sprout', which allows Arboreals to use their Groves
in arena combat as soon as they learn how to obtain quarterstaves.
- You can now use GROVE EXPOSE to remove the effects of Grove Canopy.
- Sabotage Scourge will now cause punctured affliction toxins to give
trioxin, instead of damage toxins causing formaldehyde.
- You can now dash, conjure cloak, and conjure ghost while phased.
- Mind locks will now survive automatically through the first check, and will
therefore last at least 15 seconds, and potentially as long as 30 seconds.
- I've updated the following AB files to better explain the factors that
affect mind lock speed and maintenance: Telepathy Lock, Telepathy
Telesense, Telepathy Mindcloak, Telepathy Barrier, Perception Telesense.
- Kai Choke will now apply a 3 second timer on the target during which
subsequent chokes will do half damage. There will be no messages given
to the target or the choker when the timer wears off or if half damage
is being caused. This should have a minimal effect (except in very extreme
cases of fast equilibrium) on 1v1 combat, but will require a bit more
attention in group combat.
- Kai Choke's damage is no longer heavily reliant on the target's maximum
health in its calculation. The result is that it should do less damage
against opponents with very high health.
- You can now pick which Chasten affliction to hit with in Fayth.
- Smiting a mob will automatically refresh the duration of Fayth Heresy.
- Casting Erode through a Cataclysm vibration will now create a 2.5 second
timer on the target during which he/she cannot be targeted again by a
Cataclysmed (is that a word?) Erode.
- Changed Elemency Convergence to slightly reduce the time it takes for
individual elements to converge.
- Convergence will no longer close an elemental channel if you use it on
someone who already has that element converged.
- Rings of Pestilence must now be worn in order to be used.
- New functionality has been added for Rings of Pestilence, allowing Mages
to use/deliver toxin afflictions without having to rely on Weaponry. The
rings use equilibrium to better fit with the statpacks usually used with
the Mage profession. The equilibrium time should be roughly equivalent to
a decent sabre with Transcendent Weaponry. This ability might need some
tweaking in the future; we'll see how it goes.
- Increased damage of Fox and Wolf tier Hunter pets.
- Bowmanship stand ready will only hit your enemies and is now a strippable
defense.
- Razeslash will now act as a doubleraze ability if your target has two
razeable defenses (rebounding, reflections, or shield).
- Knifeplay Jab should now share the same stancedance table with Lowhook.
- Predation darts now support command-line envenoming. The AB files indicate
the relevant syntaxes.
- The following Knifeplay attacks now support command-line envenoming:
Lateral, Vertical, Jab, CrescentCut, Lowhook, SpinSlash, WolfCharge.
- Mobs that are loyal to a player (this should include possessed demons and
Bard sketches) should now no longer attack with the following attacks:
icewall, incinerate, concussion, absolve, aeon. The attack messages will
still look the same, but the effects from those attacks should simply be
missing.
- Mobs that are loyal to a player should now have their attacks which do
extreme damage, bleeding, lengthy stuns/blackout, or long balance/eq loss
reduced. The primary intent of this change is to maintain the flavour of
Necromancy Possession and Bard sketches, but decrease the effectiveness of
some of the more extraordinary mobs.
- Stupidity has been changed such that instead of a chance to randomly fire
one of every single command in the game, it will choose a command from a
much smaller list. The majority of the commands will be cosmetic, but
there are some which may cause some minor annoyance.
