The Tournament of the Ages starts in just a short time, and I wanted to clarify and explain a few things.

Foremost, the purpose of this tournament is to have fun! This is why we try and develop a diverse schedule, and give rewards just for showing up and participating in the events. In order to receive a participation point, you must be present at the start of the event, and make some kind of effort to participate. People who show up just to joke around or act like jerks will not get any points.

Which brings me to my next topic: behavior. We all want to have a good time during this tournament. Therefore, please be civil and polite to all of your fellow Imperianites during this time of celebration. Do not attack anybody that's going to or from one of the games. In the spirit of having fun, let's just cease all hostilities while there's a scheduled event being held.

Anybody who's acting in poor faith or deliberately being a troublemaker will be banned from the tournament. That's really all the warning you'll need.

I've reset everybody's combat tier just before the start of the tournament, so it should accurately represent what tier you will be participating in, depending on your skills, artifacts, overall level, and PK level.

If you borrow someone's artifacts, your tier might go up. This will be permanent. Your tier cannot go down. The only exception I might listen to is if someone deliberately gives you a bunch of a artifacts to artificially inflate your tier without your assent. This would be a very bad thing to do. Don't do it.

Everyone who's logged in for the past 30 days should have received 30 credits as a little gift of appreciation for the time and devotion you've shown to Imperian. It's been 7 great years, and there's plenty more to come.
