On Monday, March 29th, at 07:00 GMT, Imperian will be moving over to a new server. In the meantime, please help us stress-test this new server a bit by pointing your MUD client to hostname: iron-imp.ironrealms.com port: 23.

The data on the new server is a little bit old, so don't expect your actions from the last few days to show up on it. You can do pretty much whatever you want on the new server, as there are no rules or anything like that. We'll be wiping the new server just before we change it over, and updating it with fresh data from the real Imperian.

If you encounter any problems on the new server, please e-mail me ASAP so that we can fix these problems before we actually do the full move.

The downtime for the server switch should be no more than 3 hours. Our server administration people should be using our Facebook page and Twitter feeds to provide updates to you throughout the process.
