- You can now use the doubleslash ability in Chivalry/Brutality to
attack with a one-handed weapon. The ability will automatically use the
one weapon for both slashes.

- Block in Chivalry can now be used while mounted.

- The cutting damage defence of Putrefaction in Necromancy has been
decreased slightly, and the periodic damage inflicted by that ability
has been slightly increased.

- Blackwind in Necromancy and Astralform in Noctu now have a small
preparation window before you will fully disappear. You can take actions
during that window, but the normal restrictions on entering the new form
will also apply at the end of the window, with the exception of
requiring equilibrium.

- The sanguis cost of Transmogrify in Noctu has been decreased.

- The Supercharge ability in Tarot skill will now be learned earlier in
that skill.

- The random balance loss given by the Daemonite in Malignosis has had
the lower bound on the balance time slightly decreased, resulting in a
small decrease in the average random balance loss.

- Damnation in Devotion is now a timed affliction (rather than
permanent), and the cost in Devotion to use it has been reduced.

- Smite in Fayth will now do more damage to mobs at low Fayth skill
ranks.

- Backbreaker in Taekate will now do substantially less damage to your
oponent if the opponent does not have a damaged leg.

- The artifact knuckles have all been changed to belt artifacts, and the
damage bonus will apply to both kicks and punches. The damage bonus has
been decreased to 10%/15%/20% to bring it in line with similar
artifacts. Yes, Ageranu, it finally happened! If you previously had
knuckles, they have been automatically converted to belts. If your
knuckles were customised, the customisation has been wiped on the belt
and you should now have a Token of Customisation in your inventory.

- Amazons can now use the Powersoul ability in Warding.

- The balance recovery time on Bashimpale in Warding has been decreased.

- The balance recovery time for Powersoul in Warding has been decreased
when rousing your soul.

- Envenom can now be learned in the Warding skill.

- The Survey ability in Survival will now show more information about
the magickal influences of Etherburn and Etherwarp to people who have
those abilities.

- The Bonding ability Maul has had its endurance usage decreased, and
its balance recovery time against mobiles has also been decreased.

- Crescentcut in Knifeplay will now receive increased damage modifiers
if your target has damaged arms, state 1 and state 2 torso damage, and
state 1 and state 2 head damage.

- Being afflicted by hypochondria will now occasionally cause the
diagnose ability to fail.

- The elemental and physical damage defences provided by the elemental
forms in Elemancy have been decreased slightly.

- The Cataclysm vibration now has an internal cooldown when using the
Erode spell through Cataclysm. The cooldown is slightly less than the
average equilibrium time used when casting Erode through Cataclysm. If
you attempt to use Erode through the Cataclysm before the cooldown has
expired, the spell will still work as normal, but no defences will be
stripped from your opponent.

2021 and Beyond

Hello Imperian! Another year passes! A few months from now will mark my second year on Aetherius. Time sure flies! However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
