Demonic Great Hunt!

The Great Hunt has begun. You will now gain double experience for all
quests and mob kills for the next 48 hours. This Great Hunt is in the
form of a demonic invasion, but you're the one doing the invading!

Rifts have sprung up in all of the cities, councils, and in Caanae. To
enter the rift and bring the fight to the demons, simply ENTER RIFT in a
location with one of the rifts.

You will transported to a section of the Pit of Golgotha. In it, you
will find everyone's favourite demons from past invasion events. Each
demon you kill will add one to your score for the Great Hunt. If you
kill 100 demons, you automatically get 10 bound credits.

A few important points:

- The 25-room area full of demons that you are taken to will be randomly
generated.

- The strength and the health of the demons will scale roughly to your
overall level.

- You will only get credit for the Great Hunt for demons you kill in
your specific demon area.

- You can only spawn a new demon area after all of the demons in your
current area have been killed.

- There is no xp loss during this event.

Remember, there are credit prizes for the top placers in this event.
Read Announce news #1336 for more information about the credit prizes.
You can use the HRANK command to see the current rankings in the Great
Hunt.

Penned by my hand on the 8th of Tenebrae, in the year 589 AD.
