Achievement Rules... or Unrules... or something.

Some IRE things have popped up that I need to address, so it will be a
few days before I add more achievements. Fear not, I have many more
planned. If you have any suggestions, ideas, or complaints feel free to
mail me at jeremy@ironrealms.com.

Some of you have inquired if setting up situations in order to complete
achievements is permissible. I am fine with this. Achievements are meant
to be fun side projects to work on. If you can find 5 people who will
let you kill them all at once in exchange for some gold, that is fine.
If you can talk your city into running non-stop freeze tags so you can
earn those achievements, go ahead.

The only thing that is NOT allowed is killing an -unknowing- player for
no reason aside for getting PK achievements. However, if you can talk
someone into letting you -knowingly- kill them in exchange for gold,
credits or something else, that will now be allowed.

This is a change in policy, as we have frowned on PK like this in the
past. In other words, you can now PK -willing- targets. Just be
absolutely sure they are willing. Trying to find loopholes, such as
forcing proteges or guild novices to be killed in order to promote,
will not be allowed in anyway and will result in punishment.

If you have any questions on this, please email me.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Artificium, in the year 587 AD.

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
