Following hot on the heels of the previous credit sale, we're now
offering another tiered promotion. When you purchase credits from our
website throughout the month of August, you will be given "Tokens of the
Creator".
The number of tokens you will receive based on credit purchases is:
100 credits: 1 token
300 credits: 2 tokens
500 credits: 3 tokens
1000 credits: 5 tokens
2000 credits: 10 tokens
The token distribution stacks, so if you purchase 1000 credits, you will
get 11 tokens. If you purchase 2000 credits, you will get 21 tokens.
The tiers at which you receive tokens are also cumulative across the
duration of this entire sale. If you purchase 100 credits at the
beginning of the sale, you will receive 1 token. If you purchase 800
credits a week later, you will have 900 credits applied to the sale, and
will then receive 5 more tokens. If you then purchase 100 credits a week
after that, you will have 1000 credits applied to the sale, and will
receive an additional 5 tokens, for a grand total of 1000 credits
purchased and 11 tokens given to you.
If you want more than 21 tokens, you can purchase tokens on another
character and transfer the credits and tokens over.
The token packages for the higher credit purchases will be distributed
as one item which you will have to convert into individual tokens with
TOKEN UNPACK. You can give tokens to other players with the command
TOKEN TRADE TO <person>. If you want to sell your tokens to other
people, make sure that you both agree on the terms of the trade, and
that you only trade with people you trust. Scamming people out of their
tokens will not be acceptable.
You can view the list of items available for purchase with tokens by
typing TOKEN WARES. To purchase an item with tokens, do TOKEN PURCHASE
<item #>. The item number you use is all the way on the left of the
wares list.
The things that you can purchase with your tokens during this sale are:
For 1 token
-------------
A customisation token
- This token will allow you to customize one item for free. The normal
rules as explained in HELP CUSTOMIZATION apply. To use your token,
simply submit your customization. The system will use your token
automatically instead of the 50 credits.
A shifting mirror
- This mirror will allow you to view the description of any player in
Imperian. Simply PEER MIRROR <person> to view them.
Spheres of the Gods
- These special items are an absolute must for any collector. While they
serve no real purpose, you can SHAKE <globe> for some funny, sad, or
just plain stupid roleplay emotes from the sphere. They may even share
some hints about your future. There is one sphere for each God(dess) in
Imperian, but you can only specify from which circle of knowledge you
wish to purchase. A random God will be chosen for the subject of your
sphere.
- You can trade spheres with your friends with the command SPHERE TRADE
<sphere #> FOR <sphere #>. The tradee will have to AGREE to the trade.
Using illusions or otherwise trying to scam people out of their spheres
will, again, be unacceptable. Gotta collect 'em all!
For 2 tokens
--------------
A language token
- This token can be used to learn any language, including the normally
unavailable languages of Orcish and Xiur. To learn how to speak a
language from a token, use LEARN HOW TO SPEAK <language> FROM <token>
A vorpal shard
- This special knife will cut open the very edges of your rift, allowing
you to store twice the number of herbs, comms, and other riftable items.
For 3 tokens
--------------
A Deathglory orb
- This special orb will allow you to specify your own custom deathsight
message that the world will see when you kill someone. This message must
be approved by the Gods before it will be used. You will have a new
option in CONFIG for submitting your deathsight message. Use the special
variables $(caster$) to expand your character's name, and $(target$) to
expand your target's name in the deathsight message. If you have any
questions, please feel free to ask Dranor.
An altar of sanctity
- This altar lets you offer corpses at it as if you were always at a
shrine to your Order's Patron. You'll never have to go out of your way
to find a shrine again!
A Free Item token
- This token can be redeemed for the creation of one custom,
non-decaying, resetting item. The item cannot be functional in any way
(so you can't, for example, make a really nice battleaxe that you forged
permanent). You can use this token to create a special piece of
furniture, a special piece of clothing, or a special roleplay item (like
a sceptre, or a musical instrument). Please e-mail the full item
description to Dranor at dranor@imperian.com when you wish to redeem
this token.
For 5 tokens
--------------
A Family token
- Found your own family name! The creation of new families is usually
disabled, but with this special token Dranor will help you create your
own, brand-new family. Please contact Dranor to redeem this token.
An obsidian and gold pipe
- This pipe will never run out. Simply stuff it with herbs or your
favorite tobacco, safe in the knowledge that your treasured pipe will
always be full whenever you go to smoke it. This pipe will also never
need to be lit, like normal artifact pipes.
A gossamer anchor
- This item will drastically speed your plummet to Dis after you die. On
average, it will at least decrease the amount of time between dying and
arriving in Dis by half.
For 10 tokens

An extra tattoo slot
- Have you ever found yourself yearning for just one more tattoo? This
is the solution to all of your problems! With this, you will be able to
obtain one more tattoo on your body. To do so, simply INK <tattoo> ON
BODY <of me>, or BUY <tattoo> ON BODY OF ME.
A tightly-rolled scroll
- When you switch professions, having this item in your inventory will
allow you to relearn to your maximum skillrank in the new profession
with simply one learning session. No longer will you have to learn 5 or
6 times to get back up to Transcendent when you switch professions!
For 25 tokens

A construction kit
- While normally only available during auctions, this item will allow
you to create your own shop, in any urban, road, or path location in the
world. To set up your market stall, do SETUP STALL. To close your shop
and move it somewhere else, do BREAKDOWN STALL.
