Ok, so big apologies from me.

Special thanks to those of you that figured it out. In fact, the double
XP part of the event was only half working. You were indeed getting
double bashing and questing experience, however those numbers were not
moving over to your overall experience.

Basically, whenever you complete a quest or kill a monster, a routine
modifies the experience for race, favours, and anything else, and then
adds the experience to those individual totals. At that point those
routines pass the experience result along adding to your overall
experience. Unfortunately the number passed to the next routine was the
XP amount BEFORE the double XP was calculated.

Big screw up. It is working properly now. In order to help make up for
it I am going to up the XP gain 150%, instead of just the extra 100%. In
addition, we will run the extra XP gain for another 48 hours from now.
So you can keep getting big XP going for the next couple of days.
