Combat Changes

Written by: Dranor, God of Imagination
Date: Thursday, November 13th, 2008
Addressed to: Everyone

- The Plague vibration will now only break one limb when a retardation
vibration also exists in the room. It will also no longer knock
people to the ground when used in a retardation vibration.

- Erode now has a longer equilibrium time when cast through the
Cataclysm vibration.

- The duration on newly Consecrated rooms has been increased.

- The time it takes to finish consecrating a room is now fixed, rather
than random.

- Kai energy gain will now only be given to the target of a target
(rather than everyone in the room), unless the attack is one that
affects everyone in the room or one is using Kai Net.

- Moonwort will now only cure afflictions that are normally cured by
eating herbs.

- City/Towne guards are no longer vulnerable to critical hits.

- Bone, Veritum, Orichalcum, and Stehl now all affect the distribution
of stats during the smithing process equally.

- Bard songs will now be cleared when the singer dies.

- Limb health will now heal itself over time. When a limb is hurt,
approximately one minute later, the "health" of that limb will be
reset. Any additional damage done to that limb resets the timer.
When a limb has received enough health loss to advance to the next
state (partially damaged or mangled), the timer is erased.

Aspect changes are coming next.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Ultio, in the year 564 AD.
