Auction

The auction has been started. To participate, simply visit any auction
house and do WARES ARTIFACT. There is a public auction house in the
Sienna forest, as well as auction houses in Antioch, Kinsarmar, Stavenn,
Khandava, and Celidon. The syntax to bid is:

BID <amt> GOLD|CREDITS ON <item>

The auction will last for approximately 7 days. You do not have to be
present for the end of the auction, as the auction uses a "second price"
bidding system. More information about this bidding system can be found
in Announce news #653.

Do not try and take advantage of the auction to scam other people. If
you put worthless items with similar descriptions to the artifacts for
gold up in the auction house, I will not be happy.

If you have any questions or problems with the auction, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
