Here's a description of how the 1 vs 1 tournament is going to work.

Each of you will, before 04:10 GMT on Sunday, April 13th (just a little
bit less than an hour after this post) need to use TOURNAMENT
REGISTER to register for the tournament. If you do not register before
this time, you will -not- be eligible to participate in the tournament
at all.

Rather than having me create hundreds of matches that will each take
some amount of indeterminate time, I'm instead going to tell you who
your opponent is and then have you arrange a time and place to fight
your opponent.

I will post the initial matches for the first round of the bracket on
the announce news board and registration has closed. You will have
approximately 48 hours (until 04:00 GMT on Tuesday, April 15th) to
complete your match. You can choose to hold your match in an arena, or
you can even choose to hold your match outside of the arena.

If you do not complete your match we'll try and use the time set aside
on the schedule on Tuesday, April 15th to formally hold any matches that
have not yet occurred. It is, however, in your best interest to work
with your opponent to fight him/her as soon as possible.

When your match is ended, both the winner and the loser must message me
and tell me who won the match. If the loser does not message me, he/she
forfeits his/her participation point.

As match play progresses, I will use the announce board and messages to
individual participants to inform you of your next opponent in the
tournament.
