Holiday Quests

Merry Christmas, everyone.

It seems that some of you have figured out how to abuse some of the
holiday quests to accumulate vast sums of gold. Normally, I would
instantly and permanently shrub any person that abused any quest like
that.

But, in the spirit of the holidays, I'm going to be kind, and give you
all a chance to redeem yourself. If you've managed to accumulate more
than 50,000 gold through any of the holiday quests, you have 24 hours to
send me a message. In that message, you have an opportunity to profusely
apologise, tell me how much gold you accumulated, what you did with it,
and what you plan to do to make amends. Keep in mind the long term
ramifications of your actions when planning your amends, as it can take
a while for the credit market to recover from all of the gold you've
forced into it. If you're suitably apologetic, I'll reduce your
punishment.

If I don't receive a message from you 24 hours from the time of this
posting, I will permanently shrub all your characters in Imperian. Don't
expect to think that you can continue to play Imperian if you've used an
alt to abuse the quests.

Furthermore, anybody who continues to abuse any of the quests after the
time of this posting will be shrubbed permanently. No message will save
you, after this warning.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Tenebrae, in the year 539 AD.

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
