We're going to be moving Imperian to a new server on Saturday, the 27th,
at 19:00 GMT. That should be tomorrow for most of you.

This means that Imperian will be down for a short time while we move the
game over. We will probably be down for about an hour. After the move is
finished, Imperian will come back up, but I wouldn't be surprised if
things act a little funky for an hour or two afterwards.

We're making the move because Imperian's server is currently shared with
IRE's website and database server. Over time, conflicts on that server
have made Imperian freeze up for 15-20 seconds 2 or 3 times each hour.
We'll be getting our own dedicated server tomorrow to prevent that.

I'm going to hold off on starting the artifact auction until after the
move is complete. I don't anticipate that anything involved with the
move would affect the auction, but it will be one less thing to have to
worry about during the switch.
