Cheaters

Before the over-zealous Imperian rumour mill gets a hold of this, I
thought I would clearly state exactly what has happened.

Several people have had their experience drastically dropped and will
also no longer be able to participate in rings for experience. These
people were punished for clearly violating the rules explained in HELP
TRIGGERS. Simply put, you cannot automate your bashing. You can use some
triggers for convenience, but if your "system" is able to continue to
bash for you if you stop paying attention to Imperian, you're breaking
the rules. This rule has always existed in Imperian.

The only people punished were those who were brought to our attention by
other players. We also only punished people who admitted it (these
people were not punished nearly as harshly) and those for whom we had
objective proof that they'd automated their bashing.

This proof came in the form of verifying statements like: "im going to
go to bed now, please, if you lose me, come back and get me so I don't
get jumped while I'm afk", "I was afk bashing", "i got my levels while I
was afk".

The lessons to be learned from this:

1) Don't cheat.
2) Don't brag about it.
3) Don't lie about it.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Solis, in the year 525 AD.
