As it stands, most of you know what has happened in it's entirety,
the complete backstabbing that was delivered, and the outrage that
followed. I am sure many of you know that I am Arlith's adopted son,
but I know something most of you probably do not know ever even
occured.
Last month, I had a brief run-in with Arlith at Erorag. At that point
in time, apparently he was convinced in some delusion of sorts that
what he did was done to help Antioch. Noting the obvious gaps in this
argument, the words quickly became heated and turned into a fight -
one in which, by some stroke of luck, found neither me nor him on a
trip to Dis. I retreated to gather my thoughts, and found little
event until now.
Father, I find your apology to be almost insulting. As a man who I
have always known to work better in actions than words, this truly
made me think again. You cannot simply turn around, cause chaos and
doubt, then turn again and apologize like it was nothing. It will be
a long time before I can even think of trusting you again, and I'm
sure there are a few who will -never- trust you again. You did more
than break promises. Acknowledge that.
Silvestrek, you are his cousin, I am his son. I have already fought
him - am I the enemy now? No incident is the same. No incident can be
treated the same. Therefore I suggest you rethink your policy, as no
good can possibly come from it in any way, shape, or form.
Now, in reflection, these words may be bitter, they may be prejudiced
and biased, but they are mine, and I have always found value in
saying what I think, and saying it loud. Complain, argue, agree or
ignore: the choice falls to you now, Aetherius.
