The Noctusari and Stavenn

The conflict between the city of Stavenn and the Noctusari guild reached
a peak today. As the leaders of the Noctusari were gathered in the
Ravana hills a group of Stavennites notably the ex-Imperator Aakrin,
Yosho, Malith, and Appolyon. The group of Stavennites rapidly subdued
the Noctusari leaders, who were supposedly in the midst of some arcane
ritual to steal death magick from the guilds of Stavenn. In the fray,
one Noctusari, Martyn was slain, and thereby freed from whatever grisly
fate the Stavennites had planned. The Singularity begged the freed
Martyn to run to Berodach, their guild tutor for help. The remaining
Noctusari were hooded and gagged and led all the way to Stavenn where
the citizens proceeded to torture and maim them.

Amongst the group of Noctusari were the Singularity, Sarentha, Melantha,
Kabal, and Rauglaer. The Stavennites were brutal and degrading in their
method, but the Noctusari withstood them bravely and accepted their fate
with resignation and something of pride. Finally, after hours of
bloodletting and taunting, Aakrin asked the Noctusari, more specifically
Lidara, if they had any last words. With a cry of "Destaphiton! Onoe
Aravis Ser-Kuro! Aie, Alea Iacta Est, Patridi!" by Lidara, the mountain
road the party stopped on suddenly darkened, and a fiery portal opened
from which Berodach, the Eldest Noctusari and a horde of demons emerged.
In a moment of great bravery, the Stavennites attacked and slew the
great Noctusari teacher, only to realize that upon death, Berodach took
on the form of a Demon Lord, the likes of which had never before been
seen. He disappeared to the confines of the Noctusari guildhall and
summoned the remaining Noctusari, artfully assisting their escape from
the Stavennite torture. One Noctusari, Kabal, was left behind as his
captors kept a tight hold on him.

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Tenebrae, in the year 405 AD.

However, the vast majority of this wouldn’t happen without our wonderful team of volunteers. Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…
