We are fairly close to switching on our new newbie intro. You are going to start seeing newbies saying some pretty standard things on the newbie, guild, and city channels. For example, one task for a newbie to do is this:

NEWBIE Hello, I'm new and am going through my newbie tasks

The intro drops players directly into newbie areas and has them start bashing immediately. Once they get a hand on killing and movement, we have them do a few basic things, like communication, learning, refills, etc. Then we get them right back into an area to kill things.

New characters will start with a profession, guild, and city set before they start the intro. Guild leaders will probably want to be aware of that as you will suddenly have level 1 newbies in your guild.

Those of you that are guides will want to run through it so you know what is going on. We will also post the information in help files for you.

At any rate, I expect this to happen before Friday. When it goes live we will post here.
