I am here to announce that the guide system is going to be returning to full swing, soon. I know it's been a bit slow getting the guiding program back up and running now, which means applications are again open! If you applied before the end of the world as we know it and did not hear back, please message me so that I know to look for your information in the email.

If you want to apply to be a guide, you'll have need to have reached mentor status (300 hours played, and at least level 50), and you must never have had your mentoring privileges revoked. Experience dealing with, and enjoyment of new players to both Imperian and MUDs in general is always a plus, as well seeing as how you'll be the envoys to the players of tomorrow! If that doesn't intimidate you, and you'd like to apply to be a guide, send an email to guides@imperian.com with the following information included:

1) Names of all your characters, listing which is your main.
2) Your date of birth (Real life)
3) How many hours a week you will be, or think you will be able to guide, and general times and days available. Be confident in your estimations, if you are not able to guide more than five hours tops, do not say five hours at the least. We'd much rather you say at least three and give us six than the other way around. You will also need to be present in mind and body for guiding, as sudden questions can and will arise.
4) A brief explanation as to why you believe you would make a most excellent addition to the guides.
