Endless swims at the beach,
Those tanned cheeks and that smile
all were there within my reach
all I craved, at my whim and while
nothing between us but the heat
the kisses of the summer rays
twined hands moving down the street
love long just like the spanning days
We're timeless in that daylight
our orbit an unspoken vow
but I ask questions to the night
because it is the autumn now...

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Ferinus, in the year 76 AM.
