Public News Post #247

Respect for the Divine.

Bright blessings, people of Aetherius.

I post today, not on behalf of any organization to which I belong, but
merely on my own personal views.

The post written just prior to mine is a prime example of something gone
terribly wrong in the world - blatant disrespect for Gods. Disrespectful
disagreement is one thing, but this direct challenging of a God as one
would another mortal is quite ridiculous to say the least.

Those who know me know well that I do not agree with Lord Baar on that
much, but despite this, I know my place. I am a mere insect of a mortal
to Him and have no right to challenge Him in such a manner, and most
certainly not in the tone that I have witnessed others using. Perhaps
some are letting too much insanity control their thinking, but it is
foolish to address a mighty God of Aetherius as 'Daddy' or some other
such sarcastic use of language.

Put simply, disagree with a God if you must. Defile shrines if you must.
However, speak with some amount of respect when you address One of Them,
lest They decide to smite you for your impudence.

Note please that this post is a general expression of my own disdain for
such poor manners toward the Gods and not a threat, a taunt, or as I
wrote already a representation of any organization to which I belong.

Sincerely,
Lyrith Da'Saison

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Ultio, in the year 411 AD.
